Urbanworld is honored to partner with ARRAY to host this conversation centered on the remastered, critically acclaimed 1993 film, SANKOFA, the transformative film about the untold history of Black resistance. Moikgantsi Kgama (Founder of ImageNation) moderates this panel with Ethiopian filmmaker Haile Gerima and his wife, Shirikiana Ania Gerima, the film’s Co-Producer, along with some of the key people who helped him bring this groundbreaking film to life.
