SYNOPSIS
AFROPUNK Presents The TRIPTYCH, a series of bio-pics with three of the most resonant voices in art: Wangechi Mutu, Barron Claiborne and Sanford Biggers. These films contrasts the art, views and experiences three artists who are contemporaries, luminaries and friends. From fine art to pop culture, in media ranging from album covers and billboards to canvas and sculpture, these artists have used their canny observations to explore beauty and beastliness. The films are a perfect platform to explore the intersection between art, music and the Brooklyn experience.
