BET NETWORKS invites aspiring television writers to enter their TV length (half hour and hour) scripts for the opportunity to win $5,000. Scripts must present an ORIGINAL idea for a potential TV series. The opening date for script submissions is TUESDAY, APRIL 2, 2013 and the closing date is FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 2013.
The contest is open to legal residents of the U.S. and District of Columbia age 18 and over who do not have any teleplays currently under development at a network, studio or major production company. Scripts must comply with the guidelines specified in the Official Rules, located here.
